    My HP Laserjet P1606dn printer has suddenly stopped double-sided printing. How can I correct this. I've looked at printer settings and they seem OK for duplex printing.

    I have been trying to add a second printer to my current wireless home network when it comes to identify the printer(HP LaserJet p1606dn) it is not listed by Microsoft in Windows 10

    I have been trying to add a second printer to my current wireless home network. Working through the control panel and such,when it comes to identify the printer(HP LaserJet p1606dn) it is not listed by Microsoft. Do I need to have a IP address,,,for the
    printer? If so, fine....how do get such information. If not, how do I get Microsoft to add the HP printer to their list?

    Windows 10 Bogus Printer Error


    hello,
    I have an HP Laserjet P1606DN installed and working. I installed windows 10 on April 2 and when ever I print something I get the following error notification " ERROR PRINTING ON HP LASERJET - PRINTER COULDN'T PRINT (NAME OF REPORT)". The page(s) print anyway with no problem.


    Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this error? I have another printer - HP office jet pro 8600 and it prints correctly with no errors.
    Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Networked Printer: How to print both sides?

    Strange. I've never heard of duplex problems over network. We have never had such an issue with Xerox or Kyoceras.

    You say it is missing odd pages. Often, with duplex printing, due to paper flow and reversing, page (side) 2 prints first, then page (side) 1, then page 4 then page 3 on the second piece of paper, etc.

    Watch the paper. Is it being "sucked" back into the printer for the second side? (If is uses this method)... but just not printing it?

    If you start printing from page 2 onwards, will it print the odd pages and skip the even ones?

    Are you 100% sure it is HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn printer (CB504A) and not the CB503A model that is without the duplex feature? (I ask this question in case you have more than one printer, and they do look identical). Is there some way that the driver was misinstalled on ONE of them: PC or server.

    Are you in Windows on BOTH the PC and the server?

    Try the Postscript driver.
