    I tried using the windows key +R and it does nothing won't open so I can enter msconfig ,still boots back up in the Bitlocker screen? Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advanceSteveP

    Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

    Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
      keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

    Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

    New HP Omen GTX 1070 - blank screen

    I just purchased a new HP Omen desktop 870-244 and it does not display anything on my monitor after windows starts. Pre-windows it shows the boot/BIOS loading text and the Omean logo but then goes blank after this.

    Steps tried so far:

    • Verified the monitor I'm using works with other computers
    • Verified the resolution is supported and works with other computers on this monitor
    • Tried the Omen on TV through HDMI - worked
    • Tried in safe mode with Base video option enabled - worked
    • Clean install of drivers - didn't solve

    I'm not sure what else I should try.

    Brand New HP OMEN 40L with Windows 11 Won't Load Windows at all !

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for responding, I got to the screen after I entered the Bitlocker number, It gave me a list of safe mode start up modes. I thought it would give me a chance to restore windows from online. I didn't know which option to choose , so when I changed back to my operating computer the one that I just got the mode screen shut itsself off, so I'll have to start that process over . so what do I do when I enter the safe mode options ?

I always use fingerprint everytime, there isn't a "I forgot my PIN" line so I can reset the PIN. There are no other sign in options, only PIN.
