Windows 10: My HP Pavilion Laptop is not letting me increase brightness

Sometimes , I have this issue where My HP Pavilion laptop is not letting me increase brightness .


I even if I increase the brightness either immediately or after 1-2 minutes a brightness Icon appears and decrease the brightness to zero even if I have good battery or even if system is plugged in.


sometimes it fights back as soon as I increase the brightness and reduces it to Zero


I checked , I dont have any "adaptive brightness option" nor is any night mode etc enabled.


I had the same issue few months back and it got fixed automatically. now it has resurfaced .

Cannot change the brightness of my HP Pavilion 132tx laptop

I am encountering this problem since few days on my HP Pavilion 132tx laptop. The problem is that i am not able to change the brightness of my laptop. I tried doing it using the slider in the settings as well as from the keyboard keys but nothing worked.
The slider showed tat brightness was being changed but there was no effect on screen. Please help on how to resolve this problem ad change the brightness of my laptop

 

Laptop Brightness Changing Automatically.

I have a hp pavilion laptop.For the last few days i see the laptop brightness increase to the max without pressing any key.It would be good if anyone can help me

 

Function Keys not working when i upgraded to windows 10 in my HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC

hi all,

I am using the HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC. when i upgraded my os to Windows 10 myfunctions are not working.
when functions are pressed it goes to different options inwindows 10.
Not able to increase the screen brightness and sound etc...



If any one can help me .Please tell some suggestions what to do.



I have tried most answers in the hp support forums, but nothing helped me.
