Windows 10: my hp printer is not printing with word the pages are comming out blank the ink is ok

my problem is my hp printer is not printing with word but is printing with hp app

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have done everything that you have asked me to do apart from the print spooler, I'm not so confident in doing that.

However nothing fixes this. It will print out a test page without any problem. but it will not print out anything else.

I do not understand why you are targeting word ? Its not only word that does not work, nothing I want to print out prints !!! Only blank pages every time !!!?

I have ink in my cartridges they are low, but they are showing ink, and as I said it is printing out a test page without any problem !?

Trying to figure out why my printer prints blank pages? Just changed out the blank ink cartridge

I've just connected my HP deskjet 2540 printer to my new laptop with Windows 10.

I have successfully printed off documents downloaded from internet but I can't print off word documents? The printer appears to accept something to print, but prints off blank pages? I've used HP printer assistant, installed all updates and everything checks
out as working properly.

Has anyone any ideas what I can do to fix the problem? Thanks..
