Windows 10: my identity was stolen. how do i recover my Microsoft account when they turned on two...

i finally got my phone number secured but in trying to recover the account it gives me the phone number option which is fine but the only other choice is the wrong email address. or a 25 digit code. that i cant log in to get. any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft Account Stolen and Microsoft recover doesn't work.

My Microsoft account was stolen and the primary e-mail address was changed. When I go through the recover my account it fails. The PC I was using with this account is infected, so it's currently turned off pending a complete rebuild. Is there another way I can recover my account?

You need to forget about recovering your hacked account. What good to you is an account that has been compromised by criminals?

You need to worry about your identity being stolen and it already has been stolen! The time you are wasting in trying to recover your worthless account is giving the criminals more time to use your identity.

• Change all your passwords everywhere immediately.
  
• Freeze your credit reports.
  
• Contact every organization that has your financial, legal and medical information and tell them that your account has been attacked.
  
• Open new email accounts and warn all your contacts not to open mail from any of your former addresses.
  

There are plenty of other steps you can take - you'll find detailed information on the internet. These are the things you have to focus on now. Protect your identity and your family's identity. I wish you the best of success.

 

My Identity has been stolen, please help

Full blown Identity theft, ssn's and all, I have started with link you provided along with identity protection from Experian and put a fraud alert on my credit report. My concern atm is sites like amazon, Walmart, etc. He has stolen my email accounts and Microsoft account, I recovered my gmail accounts but I cannot get my Microsoft account back, and all of my online shopping accounts are link to Hotmail. Also, after getting my gmail accounts back, I restored all filters but I feel like some emails are being deleted (maybe paranoid) such as the responses from Microsoft because I have not received any. Hard lesson learned, but please be very careful storing passwords!
