Windows 10: My IDT audio driver is not working although the speaker is working but my mic is not...

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite P55-A5312 and ive been trying to fix it by updating driver or uninstalling it or even trying to change it to high definition audio driver. Still the mic isn't not working, but when I tap the mic it hears it but in low volume even i maxed it out , please help

Front Panel Headphones and Mic not working.

Mobo : ASUS M2N MX SE
Processor : AMD Athlon X2 5200+
OS : Windows XP Professional SP2 x86

My Rear panel Speakers and mic works all fine. I got a new set of headphones(with mic) when i connect it to the front panel they don't work. NO SOUND OUTPUT.

I updated the audio drivers. I tried a few many things but I still can't get them running.
My default Sound Manager is Realtek HD Audio Manager.

Please help me get my Front Panel working. A step-by-step guide would be better.

IDT High definition audio codec not working on window 10

I didn't have to reinstall any of the Win 10 apps (Groove Music, Win Media Player) but what I did was:

• went to Control Panel --> then Sounds --> then Playback tab.
• tested the IDT High Def audio (5.1 surround sound speakers) and then
• went to IDT HD audio properties --> enhancement; click on Bass Boost; then
• --> advanced tab and changed the quality to any
• then click 'Apply'

That applied all my settings (including the audio speaker config and it worked !

oh, I have to reinstall IDT High Def driver after I replaced it with Microsoft High Def driver (which did not work for me). I have an HP d(?)8-1130a

Follow the steps to Update the driver and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
• Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC on Device Manager.
• Select the Driver tab.
• Click on Update Driver.
• Select the option “browse my computer for driver software”.
• Select the option “let me pick up a list of device drivers on my computer”.
• Select the High Definition Audio Device instead of IDT High Definition" And click next.
