Windows 10: my initial setup, the keyboard did not install to function with the secondary keypad

how do i change the layout of my keyboard to also work with the secondary keypad

Keypad not functioning correctly in windows 10


After installing windows 10 home version, my keypad will not work after initial login. The keypad will work to log in and then will not work with any apps. I hope someone has a fix as this is a PITA!

 

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I suggest you to try with any external keyboard and check to make sure there isn't any issues with the keyboard. If it doesn't help, then I suggest you to
try uninstalling and re-installing the keyboard drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Try the below mentioned steps and check if it helps:

• Go to your manufacturer’s website and download the
  Driver setup file for your computer.
• Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run box.
• Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Look for the Drivers, expand, then right click and select
  Uninstall.
• If you are prompted to Confirm, then Confirm.
• Go to the location where you had saved your downloaded setup files of the drivers and
  right click, then select Properties.
• Select Compatibility Tab.
• Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
• Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
