Windows 10: My Inspiron 15 7000 is locked in safe mode

I recently cleaned and optimized my laptop to be able to play while I'm on vacation for a month. It is a 1050 i5 compilation and it was not working in the best way, so I thought that reinstalling the graphics card driver was a good idea. I used DDU and did not read the warnings about the password in Safe Mode. I started the Safe Mode and when I entered the password I always use, I said it was incorrect. I think this is because the laptop does not recognize the Ethernet cable. I can not do anything, since I have to log in to do almost anything and when I try to reset it, only about 30% is canceled. I do not know what else to do. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Touchpad issues on Dell Inspiron 17 7000 following Windows 10 upgrade

Since, the above steps did not help to fix the issue. Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps. I suggest you to go to the below link, download the Synaptics Touchpad driver and install it in compatibility mode.

  Right-click on the Synaptics Touchpad driver setup file and select Properties.
  
• 
  Select Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
  
• 
  Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
  

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to contact to the computer manufacturer and check if they have released Synaptics Touchpad driver for Windows 10.

Password not accepted in Safe mode

Have you tried all the above steps suggested by Sangeeta Sarkar on September 13, 2015.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you trying to login the Microsoft account or the Local account in safe mode?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking.

• 
  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.

Inspiron 15 7000 won't stay on

That means Dell needs you to spend more money. *Wink

All I can think of is to try a new battery. Some laptops won't work without a functional battery installed apparently. This should be known for such a popular laptop like Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (whether it works with no battery just power cord or not.)
