I am unsure why but after a restart on my laptop my integrated gpu was uninstalled and I'm not sure why, I reinstalled it but now the integrated gpu just won't work when I use discrete gpu mode even though my nvidia gpu works just fine still. Both gpu's will work at the same time just fine in mshybrid, but if I run in mshybrid both gpus under preform. I've never had this issue before, Another strange thing that came as a result is when I open up the nvidia control panel in the 3d settings I can no longer specify which gpu to use unless I use mshybrid.To clarify my integrated gpu is an intel ir

Game didn't use the discrete GPU

I have one game that runs just fine before but now it won't use discrete GPU no matter what I do it still won't use it, the game is Grounded (Steam version) it recently has a full release update and since then the game won't use a discrete GPU even though I force it to but the game still not using a discrete GPU.

It's only on this game, I can play other games just fine they're all using discrete GPU automatically.

Things I've tried to fix it:
1. Set the game to run using discrete GPU in NVIDIA Control Panel
2. Verify integrity of game files in Steam

3. Re-install the game 2 times

4. Set my laptop to use discrete GPU all the time

And recently I got a Windows 11 22H2 & NVIDIA driver update, so it's all up to date but the game still not using discrete GPU.
What do you think the problem is? Is it my laptop? Is it the NVIDIA driver or Windows 11 updates? or is it the game that causes the issue?

Starting with version 1803 (April 2018 Update) and later versions, Windows 10 features a new section in the Settings app, which also allows to specify the preferred graphics card for traditional desktop and Microsoft Store apps to improve system performance or battery life.

To force an app to use a discrete GPU instead of the integrated adapter, or vice versa, to provide better system performance or battery life, use these steps:

Open Settings.

Click on System.

Click on Display.

Under “Multiple displays,” click the Advanced graphics settings link.

Select the kind of app you want to configured using the drop-down menu: (Classic app — these are your traditional Win32 desktop programs.) (Universal app — these are those app available through the Microsoft Store.)

If you select Classic app, you’ll need to click the Browse button to locate the “.exe” file to add the app. Otherwise, if you select the Universal app option, you’ll see a second drop-down menu to select the app.

Select the app you added from the list.

Click the Options button.

Set the graphics preference you want to use: (System default — this is always the default setting, and Windows 10 decide which GPU to use automatically. Power saving — runs the application on the GPU that uses the least power, which most of the time is your integrated graphics processor. High performance — runs the application on the most capable GPU, which is most of the time an external or discrete graphics processor.)

Click the Save button.

Once you’ve configured the steps, the app you configured will use the graphics processor you specified optimizing battery life or performance the next time you launch it.
