Windows 10: My International Keyboard shortcuts aren't working like they used to anymore.

Once upon a time, I accidentally set up the International Keyboard on my Windows 10 PC when I reinstalled it. I loved it so much that I updated my laptop and my new PC to match.However, my new Windows 11 PC suddenly doesn't like to do the shortcuts that I'm used to anymore and I now have to hold CTRL first before engaging them such as before, SHIFT+' key to get umlauts, just the ' key to get accents, and the SHIFT+` key for a tilde and instead needing to also hold the CTRL key first.I don't like this. I was perfectly fine with hitting space or a different key to get the apostrophes, quotatio

Keyboard shortcuts not working anymore

Recently upgraded to Win 10, my keyboard shortcuts not working anymore (Ctrl + C,V,X,A, .....).

I have Standard PS/2 driver installed, removed the keyboard and reinstalled with no success.

Please help.

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Are you using a laptop keyboard or external keyboard?

Adjusting the volume levels using the keyboard shortcuts depends if your device/keyboard supports media keys.

Meanwhile, let's try creating a shortcut key for the Master Volume. Refer to the steps below:

1. Right-click on an empty area on Desktop, then select
New and Shortcut.

2. Copy and paste the location below:

C:\\Windows\System32\SndVol.exe -T 76611119 0

3. Click on Next button and provide a name for the said Shortcut and click Finish.

4. Right-click on it and select Properties.

5. Assigned your desired shortcut key like F11 or F10 by just pressing it in the
Shortcut key area.

6. Click Apply and Click OK to save changes.

Windows key+Home shortcut doesn´t work anymore - How to restore?

Background:

I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro (1909) on my HP Z440 Workstation and did notice that Win+Home don´t work anym****0 Home (1909) to test if it has been removed from 1909 but Win+Home do work on my laptop. My lapt****.

So, i decided to d****909) on my HP Workstation. Then i tested to open Edge at fullscreen and then launch Notepad and Win+Home does not work this time either. The expected result would have been that since Notepad was the active window a Win+Home should
have minimized Edge. This test was done directly after the install, so no other third party apps had been installed.

Question:

How do i get Win+Home back?

I have used it a lot during the years and miss it...

• I have tested another keyboard t****n+H**** other keyboard shortcuts work as expected, such as Win+X, Win+E, Win+R, Win+D, Win+D, Win+M, etc, etc.
