Windows 10: My internet drops when I enter Microsoft pages

I was using Microsoft Azure for a data pipeline. Everything was working as usual until my internet drops. I thought this was a malfunction from the internet provider, they reconfigure the router but the problem remained. Somehow I figure out that the internet drops only when I’m using some product related to Microsoft, if I’m not using any Microsoft pages everything works normal. But when I open any page with “Microsoft” in the url the internet drops. This also happens if I search for a Microsoft Page in my cellphone connected to Wifi. I tried with different web browsers but the problem remai

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

 

Default pages for Microsoft Edge

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on the ". . ." at the top right corner. Select Settings.
• Under Open Microsoft Edge with. Select Specific pages.
• Set the webpages and Save.

Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

2. Type internet options

3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

4. Click on the advanced tab

5. Scroll down to the security section

6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
Use SSL 3.0
Use TLS 1.0
Use TLS 1.1
Use TLS 1.2

7. Click apply

8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.
