Hello guys, I've got an FWA internet provider and it works perfectly fine talking about download speed and ping, the problem is that on many online games i get kicked out from matches Fifa or I can't even join a match Fortnite because i get a "general" network error, talking for example about fortnite, I can't join a game because i get kicked out from the loading screen with the message "network error, check server status ecc..." the problem is that no one of my friends has this problem too even if they have the same internet provider as me. I tried resetting the router, resetting the pc,

    :)

My internet is working fine but I have a lot of network errors on online games.

My network is working just fine, but some games give a network error even though some others are working just fine.

Hi, How are you? I am Alan, Microsoft Expert, an Independent Advisor. I will be happy to assist you today. I appreciate your contact!

Let's try to resolve the issue of some specific games and applications that are experiencing network errors.

Solution for Network Errors in Games and Applications

    1.Check Network and Proxy Settings:

Ensure no proxy is configured that could be interfering.

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy and turn off any proxy settings.

    2.Disable IPv6:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Change adapter options.

Right-click the network adapter you're using and select "Properties".

Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" and click "OK".

    3.Use Network Diagnostic Tools:

    Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters > Network Adapter.

4.Check Quality of Service (QoS) Settings on Router:

Access your router's settings and check if there are any QoS settings that might be limiting bandwidth for certain applications.

Temporarily disable QoS to see if it resolves the issue.

    5.Manually Configure Ports:

Some games and applications might need specific ports open on the router.

Refer to the game/application documentation to know which ports need to be opened.

Access your router's settings and add the necessary port forwarding rules.

    6.Check Hardware Limitations:

The Intel Celeron N5100 processor might not be powerful enough to handle more demanding games and applications, which can cause network issues.

Check for background processes consuming a lot of resources and close them.

    7.Reinstall Problematic Games/Applications:

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the games/applications that are having issues.

This can resolve issues related to corrupted files or incorrect settings.

    8.Test on Another Device:

Try running the same games/applications on another device on the same network to see if the issue persists.

This helps determine if the problem is with the device or the network.

These steps should help resolve specific network issues for some games and applications on your device. I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Best,

    Alan
