Windows 10: My Internet keeps cutting out every 2-3 minutes I have been searching for ages and I can't...

Wifi cuts out for about 30 seconds and kicks me from my game then come back for like 3 mins and then goes again

My internet connection keeps shutting down after 3-5 minutes into or in the middle of a transaction....what is wrong??

It could be due to incorrect settings or missing/corrupt drivers or missing updates.

As I understand internet keeps disconnecting every 3-5mins.

• Which browser are you using?
• Is it a wired or wireless connection?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

Restart the computer a few times and check for Windows Updates.

In the Search box on the taskbar, enter Windows Update, select Windows Update. On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates.

I suggest you to run the Network Adapter and Internet Connections troubleshooter. It will try to identify and fix the network connectivity issues.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar and open it.

2. Click on "view all" on the left pane.

3. Run the "Network Adapter " troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Then try to run the "Internet Connections"
troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sound cuts off after 2 minutes.

To understand the issue better, please provide answers to the below questions;

  What is the make and model of your Computer?
  
• 
  Did you made any changes to the Computer recently?
  
• 
  When you said “sound lasts for 2 or 3 minutes” is it when playing a video or audio? If yes which media player are you using to play the audio or video?

  Are you getting any error messages?
