Windows 10: My java 32 bit control panel is not opening and java version not showing up

I am using windows 10 on my laptop. My java 32 bit control panel is not opening. I uninstalled , cleared registry, clear cache and reloaded by running both uninstaller and jre-8u162-windows-i586 tool in administrator mode. In command prompt it is not showing any java version and the control panel 32 bit version is not opening

Java 8, IE 11.11, Windows 10 - Java won't verify. Java control panel won't open.

I have a relatively new computer that came with Windows 10 installed. I needed to install java for an application I recently installed on the computer. I downloaded Java (I have tried installing 32-bit, 64-bit, and both 32/64 at the same time). I am unable
to verify java in internet explorer. Trying to verify results in IE crashing with an error message that says "internet explorer has stopped working." Additionally, I have tried to open the Java control panel and can't. I can see "Java" inside the PC's control
panel, but when I click the link, it does not open.

Actions taken include:

*uninstalling/reinstalling various versions of java using IE, chrome, firefox (downloading online and offline versions of Java)

*resetting IE

*enabling add-ons

*adding java.come to IE compatibility view settings

*disabling antivirus software while trying to run java

*in IE security settings, enabling "scripting of java applets"

**Note that I have rebooted computer periodically throughout this process.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We also suggest that you start your PC in safe mode with networking, then try to verify Java in Internet Explorer. To start your PC is safe mode with networking, follow these steps:

• Click on the Start button, then select Settings .
  
• Select Update & security > Recovery .
  
• Under Advanced startup, select Restart now.
  
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >
  Restart.
• After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 5 or F5 for
  Safe Mode with Networking.

Java and flash not configured on desktop?


To update Flash you must run Windows Update or download the 32-bit version it from here or the 64-bit version from here. To download Java go to http://www.java.com If you have 64-bit Windows go to Downloads, all Java downloads and install both 32-bit and 64-bit version to make sure you have Java on all browsers. After installing the 32-bit version an internet window will open automatically to test Java. Do the test to enable java in your default browser. If you have more than one browsers open the Java website from there and click on Do I have Java. Do the test again to enable Java on that browsers. If your default browser is Microsoft Edge keep in mind that it doesn't support Java and other plugins, only Flash. Use Internet Explorer instead. Click on the search icon and type Internet to see it. To make it default search for Control and click on Control Panel to open the classic Control Panel. Click on View by Large icons to see all controls. Click on Default programs and make Internet Explorer (or Firefox or whatever) the default program for everything internet-related.
