Windows 10: my "junk mail goes into a folder called "bulk" the senders of the items in there cannot be...

I have microsoft 365 officemy email does not have a "junk folder. All junk emails go into a folder called "bulk" Never thought too much about it until that folder became inundated with many emails that were from senders who do not offer the option to unsubscribe. Many are pornographic, and come in bunches of 3 or 4 and will repeat a number of times. When I right click on those emails the option to block the sender is not available. the problem is growing by leaps and bounds daily.I need to be able to block these emails

Method 1: How to block the sender.

I would like to inform that, Mail app is by design does not have option to block the sender, instead you can block the sender from Outlook account and same applies to Mail app as well.

If you want to add the sender of the certain email to your blocked senders list, kindly follow these steps:

• Sign in to your account.
• Open or view the email you want to be blocked.
• Click Sweep on the toolbar.
• Select Delete all from…
• Tick Also block future messages.
• Click Delete all.

This will also delete all messages from the sender.

Here’s how you can add the email address manually:

• Sign in to your account.
• In the upper-right corner of the page, click
  wheel/cog icon, and then click on Options.
• Under Preventing junk email, click
  Safe and blocked senders.
• Click Blocked senders.
• Under Blocked email address or domain:, type the email address where these emails came from.
• Click Save.

Method 2: To find junk folder in Mail app

To find junk folder on Mail app follow: Log-in to Mail app, in the left-pane click on
More and you will see Junk folder.

Some has it, others don't. Some called it Junk folder, others called it Bulk Mail folder.

 

Windows Live Mail Junk not junk

Sorry, no this is completely wrong. The sender is EasyJet. You might think they are junk, I might not.

Windows Mail doesn't have any junk filtering. It comes from the host. If it is in the IMAP folder called junk it arrives in the Windows mail folder called junk. If it comes from gmail perhaps it is called spam.

Maybe sometimes trash is called rubbish bin or something else but you must realise the folder definition and rules are on the host.
