Windows 10: my keyboard freezes mid gaming all the time which lasts around 2 to soemtimes 10+ seconds....

recently built a gaming pc and have windows 11 pro installed. when playing a game, my keyboard will freeze and stop working anywhere from 2 to 10 seconds. my mouse works, audio works. the keyboard just freezes so much. i have updated their drivers. troubleshootefd and everything is fine. i have scanned and repaored using command prompt and it still happens. i have switched keyboards and updated its software but it still happens. I am sick of this happening all the time. i just want to play a game on my pc that i spent so much time saving for.Please help me on how to solve this. i cant find ans

Keyboard freezing from time to time

I am currently running Windows 10 v 1909 but with an Update that was installed two or three weeks ago my keyboard began to freeze. At first, it was very subtle, but now it freezes every two or three seconds and the characters I typed appear all at once after
waiting for some time (four more seconds).

I tried to attach a second keyboard to see if it is the problem, but the other one freezes too. I wasn't yet able to find out whether they freeze simultaneously or not.

My pc is rather old, but I bought a new SSD half a year ago (Crucial) and added some used 2 gb of RAM (maybe they're broken).

In these posts I was told to perform

• an sfc scan, which found some bad files but apparently everything is repaired now
• a memory check (don't remember how), which didn't report anything bad
• a checkdisk on my Windows disk, of which I didn't got any report at all (?)

However the problem isn't really fixed by any of these steps. Can anyone help me on fixing this?

Mouse and Keyboard freezing

I experience frequent (every 30 seconds or so) a lag, or rather a freeze of both mouse and keyboard simultaneously. Pointer frezes, kebyoard entry stops mid-typing. Lasts for a second or three. When it relieves, it kind of sheds the buffers: mouse jumping to a point where it woulld have landed because I was moving it during the freeze, and more often than not the keyboard (driver?) repeats the last typed letter 20-30 times after waking up again. The behviour started a few months ago, I'd guess about three, at max four Windows updates since then. Actually I'm on 21H1 19043.1826.

Hardwarewise I'm on an Asus Hero VIII and an i7-6700 together with 32Gb of Ram. The behaviooooooooooooooounot correlate with any high ressource usage by any task in the task manager or the services list. Hehe...happened just in the line above

I found a curious notion about ressource usage in another thread though:

I never ever observe it while playing a game! (a little "grinding" lag maybe, but never a complete freeze like working in office or browsing the web).

In fact, the other user suggested to keep a game running in a background task. So far the "ooooooooooooo" above is the only occurence of the bug while writing this lengthy text. Anyways, keeping a game in background reduced the occurrence of the bug to a mere once in 30 minutes. What the hell is going on there?

Needless to say I tried wired, wireless, hub. direct connection and different ports on different headers on the MB.
