  1. My keyboard is frozen, & no keystrokes respond. The clock is stuck on 10.31 PM as well.

I have the Microsoft Surface 15 inch computer. It is about 4 weeks old. Was working well yesterday. Last night I plugged it in to recharge, & left it overnight. This morning, no keys nor the mouse work. I have tried Ctrl+Alt+Del, & holding them, but no response, I have tried pressing & holding the power button, but no response. I have tried Windows+C. I noticed the clock is stuck on 10.31 PM last night & the date is frozen too. Nothing on the keyboard gets any movement & it cannot be switched off.

The keyboard is the laptop's own keyboard, but the mouse is a separate Microsoft mouse using bluetooth.

    What should I do ??

    :)

  2. Sculpt Comfort Keyboard not registering 1st keystroke

    Hello Kit,

An outdated or incompatible driver can be one of the possible factors why this issue occurs. That being said, I suggest you to Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
and check. Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

    1. Press Windows key + S on your keyboard.
    2. Type Troubleshoot and hit
      Enter.
    3. Click on Hardware and Devices.
    4. Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen prompt.

Also suggest you to go the link below and download the latest drivers for the keyboard and see if it helps to resolve the issue:

    Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop

If you have additional questions, or if the issue persists after the troubleshooting steps above, please let me know by replying to this thread. This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as
    soon as I can.

  3. Win 10 keystrokes go bonkers

when I hit one key sometimes it drops down a list to select from

sometimes it takes 2 keystrokes then just hangs

if I persist in trying Win 10 logs off and I have to log on again.

    maybe the keystroke autocompletion feature?

Need help. My Win 10 system is now unusable until I resolve this issur.

Using a second PC to enter this problem description.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

    Thanks/

Keyboard stops working after recording one keystroke

I've tried two different corded USB keyboards now on my Desktop and both gave the same problem leading me to believe this has something to do with Windows 10 or my actual computer.

The keyboards were recognized and named correctly in "Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other devices", and listed on device manager as "HID Keyboard devices". However, the problem I'm getting is that after plugging in the keyboard and clicking in a field that
allows me to type I can press a key and it will record that one keystroke, but afterwards it will completely stop recording anymore. I can repeat this over and over by unplugging and reconnecting the keyboard, each time only allowing one keystroke to be recorded.

Would anyone have a suggestion for how to go about troubleshooting this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting, downloading new drivers, all with no luck and I'm running out of ideas.

    Thanks so much in advance.
