Windows 10: My keyboard is not working on the login screen at all I can't type anything

I started getting this today I can't type when I'm trying to log into my pc my keyboard isn't working I tried turning off filter keys I tried on screen keyboard it's not my keyboard Literally NOTHING is working.It just shows a sign in button and makes me log into my Microsoft account but I can't type

Keyboard not working and not able to login from login screen

We're glad that you were able to login now on the computer. Since the keyboard is still not working, we would like to know the answers to the following questions:

• Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
• If you are using a standard keyboard (wired/wireless), have you checked if there are any lights from the keyboard that indicates that it is being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest running the hardware troubleshooter as it can fix possible issues that you are having. Kindly follow the steps below to perform it:

• Open Cortana, type in Troubleshoot and click it.
• Under Find and fix other problems, click on Keyboard.
  
  
• Click Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Keyboard not working on Login screen

I suggest you to use the on-screen keyboard and try to login. Follow the steps below:

Click on the Ease of Access icon at the right bottom of the screen and select On-screen keyboard and login.

Touch keyboard pops up at login

Hi Mon,

The on-screen keyboard pops up on the login screen if the Use On-Screen Keyboard
option is enabled. For us to disable this option, please follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Type Ease of Access Center, and then press Enter.
• Click on the Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard link.
• Under Type using a pointing device option, uncheck the
  Use On-Screen Keyboard box.
