  1. My keyboard lags every 10-20 minutes or so

Been having a problem for a few days where every so often my PC fan lights will flicker off and on again and then my keyboard has around a 1 second delay for all inputs. This delay tends to last for 5 seconds or so but when gaming it is a serious problem. Neither my mouse nor any other USB connections seem to be affected, and they are all plugged into the back of my motherboard rather than the top where the power button is. I tried switching keyboards and uninstalling the drivers but nothing changed. Any ideas?

    :)

  2. Keyboard input lag (Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, Windows 10 20H2)

Hi there. I've got yet another Windows 10 problem. lol

This time it's my keyboard. I'm using a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I have been experiencing keyboard input lag off and on for a couple months now, and I've searched for possible solutions, but none so far have worked. I was hoping you guys could suggest some fixes.

Here's what I've tried, based on the suggestions I've found on the web:
    • Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
    • Swapping USB ports. Nada.
    • Unplugging any extraneous USB devices. Zilch.
    • Checking the batteries. No joy.

As I was typing this it was lagging here and there. It's a bit disconcerting. Anyway... I don't think I missed anything, but if you need more information or diagnostics, lemme know and I'll upload 'em.

  4. My keyboard lags every 10-20 minutes or so

Windows 10 takes 20 minutes to boot

I have a three-year-old MSI laptop running Windows 10. Recently, it has taken forever to boot. Initially, the slow down was a "mere" 2-3 minutes, but now it's about 20 minutes to go from POST to the Windows 10 login.

I found this answer in my search:

Redirecting. Unfortunately, it didn't help. Here is everything I've tried:

    • Disable fast book
Ran SFC scan - no errors found
Cleared up space on my booting drive
"Clean boot" - disable all the startup apps (as described on the linked page)
Ram test using mdsched.exe - no errors found
Set the PC to best performance (text looks quite ugly now)
The last solution I can find is to reset Windows 10. I'd rather avoid that if I can. Any final suggestions?
