    My keyboard randomly stopped working and i don't know what to do


    My keyboard randomly stopped working and i don't know what to do. I can use the mousepad to move the mouse around but I can't click so I have to use a wired mouse and right now I am in tablet mode. My computer is a lenovo gen 3

    Keyboard charachters don´t match

    How to correct keyboard charachters if language region does match correct keyboard but charachters still don´t.

    Keyboard randomly stops working after sometime

    Hi,

    The keyboard is working in BIOS mode however in the Windows mode it stops, this could be happening because the System files of the OS maybe corrupt. Run a SFC scan and check. Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows + X
    • Choose "Command prompt (Admin)"
    • Type " sfc /scannow"
    • Press Enter.

    Laptop keyboard randomly stops working.

    My laptop keyboard randomly stops working. The only way to get it back to work is by a hard reset (press the power button to shut off the laptop or navigate in the system and press shut down). The it will work for an undetermined amount of time (it could be few minutes, hours, days or even week) and then randomly stop working again. Sometimes it happens multiple times a day. I have the BIOS updated to the latest version. Any suggestions how I can fix this problem as it is extremely frustrating.

    My laptop is Dell XPS 9380. I contacted Dell and they want to replace the keyboard. It is clearly not a hardware issue. Please advise if there is a way to fix this problem.
