Windows 10: My keyboard rinnongt Windows 11 does not function properly afte Chinyere of Microsoft...

Microsoft support has somehow caused my notebook using Windows 11 . So the keyboard does not work properly. Eg, if I key L it comes as 3A lady known as CHINYERE took over my notebook to solve a notificatio minor problem when I got control of the notebook back, I found that I could not correctly key many characters eg. L comes up as 3.I contacted Microsoft support twice and was told to get a plug in keyboard so I could allow Support to access my Notebook, It's Case 1048323862 handled by BENCH MICHEAL.I don't have a keyboard and can not afford oneLJohn Flint

Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 with Windows 11

My Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 works on Windows 11 - somewhat. All the standard keyboard operations work properly, and two of the the special function keys work, however, the MS Mouse and Keyboard Center software says "no supported device". Any suggestions??

It is possible that your Microsoft Designer Keyboard stops functioning properly because the drivers it needs to be updated. To isolate your issue, we'd like to gather more information:

• Have you tried updating your drivers?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

For the meantime, we recommend that you run the troubleshooter for Hardware and Devices. This will identify and diagnose technical issues. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard and select
  Control Panel.
• On the upper right part of the Control Panel window, type
  Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Click View all.

Intermittent keyboard non-functioning


I use a wireless mouse and keyboard. Every now and then, often enough to be irritating, the keyboard fails to function: the mouse works properly. The keyboard problem persists for a few minutes, after which it works again. There is no discernable pattern to this problem.

This is the third wireless keyboard to show the same problem, suggesting something is wrong elsewhere.

The keyboard batteries are not responsible for the failure.

On the same desk is a cordless telephone.

Any helpful suggestions would be very gratefully received.
