Windows 10: My keyboard suddenly stopped working and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I have an old Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and this morning I was typing something and it just stopped working. I've tried restarting, unplugging, Uninstaller the device, turning the keyboard off and on again, and everything I can think of. I've even replaced its batteries and I'm not sure what else to do.my keyboard is atleast 6ish years old but maybe closer to 12+ what should I do? Do I just need a new keyboard?

Some Keyboard keys suddenly stopped working!

Hi there,

Some Keyboard keys suddenly stopped working on my laptop 2 days ago and I couldn't fix it and currently writing this post using on-screen keyboard.

I've tried the following and it didn't work:

• Troubleshooter.
• Updating, uninstalling, drivers and even downloaded the default one from manufacturer's website.
• Uninstalling latest windows update.

The problem is not with the hardware I'm sure!

Also, it happens with windows login screen.

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite C55.

Windows version: Windows 10 Home 1803

OS build: 17134.90

Windows 10 Keyboard and mouse suddenly stopped working.

Windows 10 - Keyboard and mouse all of sudden stopped working.

The same keyboard and mouse works on 2 other laptops.

What I have tried so far to fix.

• Tried a different wireless keyboard and mouse. - no luck.
• Ran the Troubleshooter - Hardware and Devices - It 'applied a fix' and rebooted. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled all the drivers under HID from device manager. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled all the USB drivers. - still no luck.
• Uninstalled the root hub. - still no luck.
• Tried System Restore to the previous date before the last windows update today. - still no luck

Only strange thing is after rebooting the same drivers that I deleted shows up on device manager

Any suggestions?

the touchpad and keyboard suddenly stopped working a few seconds after the computer starts. i did a system restore and it worked well for a few hours before it stopped working again. im not sure if this is because of the windows 10 updates. i mean, do
i need to perform system restore everytime it happens? are there any ways to solve this permanently?
