    My keyboard types two characters at once when pressing a number


    Today i noticed this problem when i was typing a message, the other number keys work fine but 4,5,8, and 9 keys are the ones that has a problem. Whenever i press 4 or 5 once it inputs both 4 and 5 at once even if i just press 4 or just 5, and when i press the 8 key it types "u8" instead of just 8, and for 9 it types "i9" when i just press 9 once. I'm using a PC/Desktop and my keyboard is a Fantech K500 keyboard.

    If you're having issues with your laptop's keyboard, we highly suggest performing the troubleshooting steps in this article:

    Mouse, touchpad, and keyboard problems in Windows    . If the issue persists, you may also try the suggestions posted by Deepak Kodi in this
    thread. Quite a few people found his suggestions helpful.

    When I type in any character on keyboard, numbers come up

    After the most recent Win 10 update, when I press a key on my keyboard, a number comes up instead.

    For instance, when I pressed the "a" key, the number 0 would come up. If I press the character key again, a 1 will come up, and if I press any character key again, the number 2 will come up, and so on. So, if I pressed
    aaa, or abc, or asd, or any other character key combination, the numbers 012 will come up. Also, the number sequence will go from 0 to 9 and reset after 9.

    I first noticed this issue when I was playing a flash game when all of a sudden any key press would lead to the numbers 01234...etc, being pressed. When I tried games on Steam, the characters would continuously go one
    direction, not sure if this is the same issue.

    This issue doesn't happen anywhere else. The keyboard is normal when I'm typing.

    I have already tried replacing the keyboard, ran my antivirus program, updating driver. Still can't solve the problem, please help!

    Keyboard typing wrong characters on windows 10

    So just now my laptop wouldnt start. So turned off my laptop by pressing the power button and turned it on again. Then all of a sudden, my keyboard starts to type in the wrong character. I am certain that it is not even another language.

    Mostly it types the number '6'. About 90% of my keyboard characters type the number '6' when pressed, including CapsLk, Backspace, Space, etc.

    I cant even type in my password to sign in to my laptop. I dont know if this is related, but the power button keeps beeping even when the laptop is shut down.

    I am using Windows 10 on Lennovo Ideapad 500S.
