Windows 10: my keyboard works but my mouse wont. How do I get it to work?

I have a laptop, the mouse is in the keyboard.. not the ones that need a wire.

Mouse and keyboard wont work on windows 11

I recently bought a prebuilt pc and a monitor. I installed windows 11 on the pc and was able to get through a few steps when the mouse went out while setting up. I have a wired mouse and keyboard and the mouse just stopped working when I got to the ethernet set up. Ive tried different usb ports and a different mouse and it just wont work. I plugged it up to my old desktop and it works fine. Now I cant continue the setup process because the mouse doesn’t work. Can someone please help me?

I suggest you to connect the USB Keyboard and Mouse to a different USB port and check if it works.


Also, plug your USB Keyboard and Mouse to a different system and check if it works.
