Windows 10: My laptop 16GB RAM is always at high usage

Everytime i start my laptop and check my ram on task manager, it is already at 75+% RAM usage. I didnt open any game yet and it takes up so many RAM. I followed some steps on youtube to close startup apps like discord, delete antivirus software and end task bluestack, it didnt work much and my RAM remain at 90%. This greatly effect my gaming experience. Need help!!!! How to let app run only when i open it and it will shut down when i closed it? Apps that i use: vs code, bluestack, honkai star rail, steam, epic game, vs 2019, btd 6, riichi city, osu, roblox, geforce experience, tlauncher, zoom,

High Ram Usage

Hi there,

So this is the problem, From the time I bought this brand new IdeaPad Flex 5 (itlo5) 14" laptop, there has always been high ram usage when I look in task manager. The ram usage has always been around 80%. I have tried to clean install windows (which removes all bloatware from the manufacturer) but there is still high ram usage. My old HP laptop had the same amount of ram as this laptop (4GB) but the speed of the ram was slower. And the ram usage had been lower than this laptop!

16GB RAM only 8GB usable on Windows 10 x64

have 16GB of RAM installed on my computer, but only 8GB is usable. I am running Windows 10 x64. I have tried the following steps to fix this issue, but they have not worked:

1. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.
   
2. I have tried reseating the RAM modules.
   
3. I have tried using different RAM modules.
   
4. I have tried run-MSConfig
   

I am still not able to use all 16GB of RAM. Any suggestions?

Win10 high RAM Usage

That's actually completely wrong as @altae has stated. Here's my 16GB with Firefox, Outlook and WinDBG open.
