Windows 10: My laptop always freeze when i hold down a key for too long,Including the boot screen that...

What's up everyone? Keep in mind that i'm writing this on a old laptop6 years old. The problem i'm facing is my laptop constantly freezes when i hold down a key about 1.5 sec long to be exact. This also occurs in the boot up process too.Have to press a key to resume the booting process or else it would stuck there forever.When it freezes it would create a large beep sound and when i let go it just gone.I tried reinstalling drivers,Forcing shutdown,Restart and nothing else works. The method that only works is to put my pc into the sleeping state and when it wakes up the problem just go away

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

Hi, this is read from an HP forum, not ASUS- I've no idea if it applies.. but you can try it!
Here are the steps:

1. Turn off the computer.
2. Hold down the windows key + b and power on the laptop without letting go.
3. Here's the magic: while holding down windows key + b, then press F2.
4. The laptop will enter BIOS recovery mode, and you should be all set from there.

As an initial step, I suggest you to boot into Safe mode and check if the issue persist.

Follow the bellow steps:
