Windows 10: My Laptop Audio and Microphone aren't working properly.

Hi,So I recently reinstalled windows, because it was kind of sluggish on my new laptop. I reinstalled it using the ISO from the Microsoft website, and when I did this the audio of the laptop seems to have messed up. I am not able to change the volume, it's either at 100 or 0 and it isn't as loud as it used to be before. I'm also completely unable to use the microphone now.My laptop is a HP Pavillion 14 Plus with AMD Ryzen 5 7540U and 16GB ram. Idk if this is needed but it has a Realtek audio device and an AMD HD audio device .I tried reinstalling windows once again, to get the same issue. I a

Microphone not working properly

My inbuilt laptop microphone (Microsoft Array-Intel Smart Sound Technology for Digital Microphones) is not working properly. When I record something using this microphone the audio gets recorded at 0.5x speed. When I play the recorded audio it plays like I am listening at 2x of what I recorded. I have checked it using stopwatch the recording time runs at half speed than real time. When I use external microphones everything works fine with bluetooth mic but my inbuilt microphone doesn't works properly. Please help me to fix this problem. Is it hardware related problem or some software issue?

I have tried reinstalling windows 11 but still the problem in not solved. Please provide your suggestions and solutions.

Microphone not working properly after upgrade to 1803

After upgrade to 1803 my microphone is not working properly. I googeld and found many times this answer:

1. Hit Windows key and search for "microphone privacy settings"
2. Hit "Allow access to the microphone on this device"
3. Switch "Allow apps to access your microphone" to ON

Among the apps that are showing is Edge. There the mike is working, but on chrome and my games microphone is not working

3. Device Manager:
   
   • Open Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting "Device Manager."
     
   • Look for any entries related to your external microphone. It should appear under "Audio inputs and outputs."
