Windows 10: My laptop audio not working

Hello I have been having issues with my audio for the past few days and have tried many fixes. The issue with my audio is that my laptop speakers and any connected headphones do not receive any audio even when i have the volume on 50 or 90 percent. My laptop I use is an acer gaming laptop nitro 5 I think. I need this laptop to start working properly soon because some applications do not open because oof it and the meetings i need to go to are very pointless without having audio. thank you If you can help.

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

Hi,

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Can not record audio.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
