Windows 10: My laptop auto installed installed Windows 11 and now my laptop is toast.

    My laptop auto installed installed Windows 11 and now my laptop is toast.


    I didn't have a choice, my laptop just autoupdated to windows 11, and now it won't even boot up. I can't get to a homescreen or anything. This update fried my laptop. I've tried everything to fix it and now it's at a repair shop, and I'm being told the update apparently fried my hard drive. Which had very important stuff on it. Not a question, I'm just very upset, as this was my only way to have some income and now, because I have no way of buying a new laptop or anything, I'm stuck.

    Installing W10 on this Laptop

    HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

    Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

    Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

    If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.

    I wan't to re install windows on my wife's acer 5532 laptop,it did not come with a windows disc. i was seeing if i can use my windows 7 disc i bought for my pc build? but use the serial numbers off of her laptop.(btw her laptop has windows 7 all ready)
