I got this issue 4 months back when j turned on my laptop it was starting suddenly screen goes black but the power light was on, it's not a display issue I've checked I've been jn bios for some time and it was good all there but in windows this issue is happening I am not able to get into due to this issue. Now today I turned it on again and same issue but this time instead of going black it showed this * AMERICAN MEGATRENDS* FTPM NV CORRUPTED or structure change. When I pr4ssed the key which it told like Y , N the screen goes black suddenly while power light being on

Laptop Slow after Ram Upgrade

Hello! after upgrading my laptops ram from 8gb to 16gb it started running slower, i tried reinstalling the 8gb stick, like the way it was before, it got better but in games i kept having a lot of stuttering, i tried running a memtest but it said that everything was okay

I have an Acer Aspire a315-41 with a Ryzen 5 3500u with radeon vega 8

Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

Hi There,

I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

• I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
• physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it

Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

8gb ram 4.87gb usable problem

My cpu is amd ryzen 3 3200 g radeon vega graphics i don't know if it will help but the main problem is the ram, Why does it show 4.87gb usable when i've got 8gb ram installed? Need help.
