Windows 10: My laptop camera is not being found as option in Zoom.

My laptop camera is not being found as option in Zoom. I have tested https://webcamtests.com/ and camera is working fine. The only camera option presented is "USB camera". I have been using Zoom for over a year without any problem. Now all of a sudden it is not working. There is always a green pop-up indicating that "Zoom is using the camera". I usually just close this dialog box. I wonder if I accidentally hit "do not allow app to access camera"? What would this do? I can't find anyplace to reset this if I did.

Strictly speaking this is probably not the right place to ask, but I'm running out of ideas, and as I have Windows 10...

I have a Lenovo laptop and I'm trying to run Zoom, but I can't get the camera to work. I've tried contacting Lenovo and Zoom (via ticket) and have got nowhere. (Usually they try pointing me down a path already tried and failed.) I've tried all the options Zoom and Lenovo suggest, but to no avail. The camera works on nearly everything else, so I'm guessing it's actually the Zoom application. Any ideas?

How do I get the ZOOM app onto the Privacy access list?

I'm not having any luck in unblocking the camera. I can see and hear at Zoom meetings, but not seen.

Does Zoom need Windows permission? How do you fix that? I'm not very good at tech mazes; maybe someone

can walk me through that needed connection? Why is Zoom omitted from the apps with access list?

Error number received at clicking the video sign to join: #OxA00F4244 [no connection)

Checked re App Access which are all marked ON, but no Zoom app listed.

Suggestions, recommendations?

 

My Lenovo can access Zoom audio, but the Zoom app is supposedly not on my laptop, so I cannot give the camera permission for Zoom. How do I put Zoom in the camera permission column?

That's the problem. Under Choose which apps can access your camera, the Zoom app is not listed.

Therefore, I am not able to allow camera permission to my laptop.

I need to know how to add the Zoom app, so it is "officially" recognized by my Lenovo.

As I said, I am able to use Zoom with audio only - no video.
