Windows 10: My laptop cannot detect hdmi cable

I already searching the internet for hours to find how to fix it.i has tried reinstall graphicupdate the latest graphic driverhard bootand a lot other method... but still nothing seem workingsomeone please help me...

HDMI cable not detected by computer

I want to connect to a monitor or TV with HDMI. No signal to either. Monitor says "no signal coming from your computer".

I have tried with no success:

• HDMI directly into Nvidia 980 HDMI slot
  
• HDMI directly into motherboard slot, Intel i6700k with integrated graphics
  
• HDMI indirectly into HDMI(female)-to-Displayport(male) adapter, into Nvidia 980 Displayport slots
  

I have verified:

• Cable plugged into second computer, connected fine to monitor and TV
  
• Tried different HDMI cable, same results on both computers
  
• Displayport slots on Nvidia 980 work on monitor with DP-mDP cable
  
• Both monitor and TV are 4k. Output is 4k on other computer, and 4k using Displayport on this computer.
  
• Used newest graphics driver for Nvidia 980
  
• Used old graphics driver (2020) for Nvidia 980
  

All cases, other computer connected successfully and this computer received "no signal"

Other than the hardware checks and the driver checks, I am not sure what other steps I should try.

Since it applies to both Nvidia 980 and motherboard, and since Displayport works but HDMI through Displayport doesn't work, I feel like there is some issue in the computer working with HDMI signals.

My TV is not detected when I connect to my laptop through Thunderbolt/HDMI cable

I have a laptop with Thunderbolt(Mini Display Port) and ofcourse TV has HDMI port. Si I bought a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable and connected the devices but TV is just not showing up when I press Detect.

Now, this laptop is not having any issues when I connect it with my external monitor, its just the TV which is not being detected.

• My laptop is a Lenovo T440s Windows 10
  
• TV is Samsung LCD 1080p
  
• Now, my laptop connects to other external monitor fine
  
• While TV also works fine with other devices like Roku very fine.
  
• its just the combination of laptop and TV is something that is not working at all.

All I see is No Signal when I turn on the TV and choose the port from laptop

Any suggestions?

Adapters are not always the best way to isolate issues, since sometimes they might not work properly. Ideally we should always have cable with the same connector from both ends (e.g HDMI-HDMI cable, DP to DP).

It's extremely peculiar to have both HDMI ports on the GPU and on the motherboard malfunctioning, they are two different hardware components.

1. Is the Integrated Intel Graphics card detected in Device Manager?

2. Can you test the DP adapter on the other PC?

Perhaps, can you swap graphics card from this PC to another one?
