Windows 10: My laptop cannot find my usual hotspot

My laptop usually logs on to my phone's wifi hotspot instantly when I turn it on. I am using Windows 11 Home.3 weeks ago, it just suddenly stopped detecting and connecting to my phone's wifi hotspot.The laptop can detect and connect to all my neighbours' wifi. I have tried using my client's laptop and phone and they are able to detect and connect to my phone's wifi hotspot with no issue.It seems like both the phone and the laptop are fine. They just refuse to detect and connect with each other.How do I go about troubleshooting this issue?Many thanks

Why my usual wifi hotspot creating softwares are not working after upgrading to Windows 10? What should i do if i want hotspot from the laptop? is there any built in facility for this? Or can you suggest any good such softwares?

 

Mobile hotspot in windows 10 laptop

You may change the password of your mobile hotspot so that the person you don't allowed to use it can't connect to it. To assist you better, we'd like to know if you've tried changing the password. Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps below on how you can change the password of the Mobile hotspot.:

• Open Settings then select Network & Internet.
• Choose Mobile hotspot.
• Under Mobile hotspot section, you can see the current name of the Wi-Fi hotspot and password. To change mobile hotspot name or password or both, click the
  Edit button.
• Enter a new password for the network. Click Save button. Note that the password must be of at least 8 characters.
