Windows 10: My laptop Dell Inspiron 5577 isn't charging past 54%

I believe this started 1 or 2 days ago when the battery reached around 7%, I immediately began charging it up.This is already a replacement battery and it has less than 2 years of use time.I have all drivers and Windows updates installed and the battery is working properly according to Dell support software.Everything should be fine except the battery is stuck at 54% when charging, it doesn't charge more than that.I have read this BIOS fix from Dell here https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000144108/laptop-battery-does-not-charge-beyond-55-on-certain-dell-pcs but that doesn't ap

Dell Inspiron 5577 BSOD

Hello,

I just got a Dell Inspiron 5577 laptop today which experienced BSOD with Windows 10 version 1709. I have rolled back to an earlier version of Windows 10 but would appreciate any advice you may have. I have attached the DM Log Collector file.

Windows Mixed Reality error 14-2 when Dell Visor plugged into Inspiron 5577

I'm getting error 14-2 which reads that I'm using an adapter or extension cable, although I am not using either. It suggests to update my graphics card drivers, which I have done, but the problem persists.
I'm using a dell visor and and Inspiron 5577. Any help?

 

Inspiron 15 5577 No Audio Output Device is installed Windows 10 1903

I have an Inspiron 15, 5577 laptop. Dell sold this model as a gaming laptop but I use mine in my recording studio.
I have 1903 installed, with the Dell Realtek driver and no problems.

As you have had problems with an older Win 10 version, It would appear to be something other than the Windows version causing the problems.

First thing to do is update the PC with the Dell drivers. The Dell "Support Assist" although buggy should be used to update whatever needed drivers, EXCEPT BIOS (DO NOT use the Support Assist for BIOS as we have seen issues with this on the Dell support forums).

The next thing to look at is what other applications you are using as one of those may be causing the problems. My 5577 is basically the same way it came from Dell (other than Win 10 version updates).
