Windows 10: My laptop died suddenly when I plugged in my charger - asus tuf

I have asus tuf gaming F15 2021, today i just turned it on it had 26% battery left so i just to be on the safe side i decided to plug it in and i plugged in my charger like I usually do. At the exact moment I plugged in, the laptop died. It’s not turning back on and doesn’t show the charging indicator. I tried power draining that doesnt solve the issue. What could be the issue? Any help is appreciated.

Hi. I have recently bought a laptop - ASUS TUF Gaming F15. I don't know if it was like that since the first time I bought it, but whenever I plug the charger, the screen temporarily turns black and then goes back to normal.

 

ASUS laptop suddenly shut down and looks completely dead

When I was testing the original hard disk drive to see if it really was faulty, I unplugged the laptop charger to plug my other notebook's charger, where I checked the original hard disk.

Then I put the new hard disk in the ASUS laptop and forgot to plug the charger again. I installed Windows 10 while running by battery, then I logged in, check some things and the battery died. I saw the power cord was plugged in the laptop, so I started to do all kind of sh*t. I gave up, wrote this thread, and once I finished, I looked at the wall plug and saw the ASUS laptop charger on the floor. I face palmed so hard my hand is still going on. At least you guys can laugh, hahahaha.

Oh, by the way, when the power cord is plugged in the laptop, of course a LED lights up even if the laptop is turned off, but of course, the charger must be plugged in to the wall plug. Energy is not free you know. I have a cable mess right now, that's why I missed the basics.

This is what happens when you're so used to weird problems laptop have, you're used to solve them doing all kind of crazy things, and finally you forget about the basics. I was sad because I was about to call my friend and say: "look, you have the worst luck ever, your hard disk just died and then the laptop MoBo, I guess, just died as well"

 

Laptop goes to sleep mode after plugging in charger

Hello.

I have a ASUS X550C laptop. The original charger broke, so i bought a charger for it at my local market (the brand is "Innergie"), which also works for ASUS laptops. Now since i got this charger, i was experiencing issues where my laptop would randomly go to sleep mode, however, i resolved this issue by turning computer on, removing the charger, and plugging it back in. That seemed to fix it. However, recently, this method stopped working. My computer runs completely fine when it is unplugged, however, when i plug it in, i get a "Low battery" warning (even though i HAD 72% battery), and the laptop immediately goes to sleep mode. Trying to turn it on is useless. It will only turn on if the charger isn't plugged.

Any advice?

PS: I have already changed all my power & sleep options. Everything is set to "Never".
