    My laptop disconnects from external monitor and loses signal frequently


    Hi there!I currently have an aero gigabyte 15 with a RTX 3080 which I connect to a Dell 27 Gaming Monitor - G2722HS - 68.60cm 27.0" external monitor using HDMI as a single display I only use my monitor screen. At very random times, can be from every 5 mins to an hour, my monitor will freeze then go black and no signal and my laptop screen will be on. I thought it was because it was over heating but when I start up my laptop, sometimes it will occur instantly. I don't believe it is a monitor issue or cable issue as this happens with any monitor/cable I have tried. Sometimes my laptop s

    recently my external monitor loses signal from surface book 2 on and off, I have the same problem in my office on desktop also, what is going on with windows?

    Turn on laptop but external monitor no signal

    I trying to see if there is a possible fix, I use a type c to displayport cable to my external monitor and when I on my laptop the external monitor have no signal only when I unplug and plug back in the type c cable then there is a signal. I have tried off and on my external monitor but does not work however it will have windows plug in/out sound but no signal.
