Windows 10: My laptop does not generate a BitLocker recovery key on my Microsoft Account. What can I do...

I performed an off line Windows security scan and the BitLocker recovery page is now in my screen. I have logged into aka.ms/recoverykey. I located my device and then selected see details and then selected manage recovery keys. Only my home computer is show on the recovery key page and generating a recovery key. How do I get my laptop to generate a recovery key?

What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?

3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?
