Windows 10: My laptop does not show the option to connect to bluetooth. In the quick settings the...

The bluetooth icon is missing from the quick settings. When tried to connect the bluetooth after opening through system settings, the bluetooth is not able to connect to any device. Hence the system does not connect to any device through bluetooth. Kindly help.

Bluetooth speaker wont connect to laptop?


I'm having some trouble figuring out what to do here, my Bluetooth speaker wont connect and isn't even discoverable by my laptop. i want to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my laptop but when i go to Bluetooth settings my speaker does not show up on the list of devices. I have un-installed and re-installed the drivers, i've reset the Bluetooth driver management service and Bluetooth support services but still nothing is working, any help would be much appreciated.

just in case you need to know the specs.
speaker: Bush soundbar model-BSB02BT20
laptop: Hp Elitebook 8470p running windows 10

please help!

 

Reset Quick Assist settings

Thank you for the information. Stability of connection in Quick Assist depends on the internet connection. We suggest to make sure that you are connected to stable internet. To help you with this, please perform the following steps below:

• Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
  
• On Settings, choose Apps & features.
• On the left pane, choose Programs and Features.
• Then, look for Quick Assist and click on it.
• Choose Advanced options, then Repair.

Bluetooth Not Showing Up In Settings

I have a bluetooth dongle that was working but after a restart all bluetooth settings dissapeared. The dongle still shows up in devices and device managers, the drivers are installed, but no options show up in the settings list for bluetooth. Bluetooth is
supposed to show as an option under "Connected devices". What can I try do to get bluetooth back?
