Windows 10: My laptop doesnt connect to wifi all of a sudden. Any clue, plz?

Hello

So my laptop stopped connecting to the wifi. It was working well one day, turned it off, woke up with a laptop that doesn't connect.


My phone does connect with the network so it is now a router problem. I tried updating,reinstalling the driver adapter. Troubleshooting, resetting network, device manager network check, nothong seems to work. It does not show the available networks at all. When I actually click on 'show network', nothings changes.

Any clue?

Laptop is lenovo windows 10.

All of sudden my wifi network is not showing in the available wifi networks list

Hi Team,

For understanding purpose I am naming my wifi connection as A and other connections are B,C,D,E,F,..etc

Laptop and mobile are in same room

Laptop connected to wifi A

Mobile connected to wifi A

all of sudden

Laptop disconnected to wifi and couldn't able for find wifi A in the available connections list, but can see many other networks available B,C,D,E,F,..etc.

Mobile is still connected to wifi A

I tried my laptop to connect to wifi B, it is successful. Don't know what is the problem.

My laptop is uptodate, even i updated the drivers. uninstalled and restarted the device still able to connect to wifi B but couldn't able to find wifi A in the list.

Please help.

We would like to isolate this issue that you're having right now. We suggest that you try the steps below:

  Go to Network and Sharing Center.
  
• 
  At the right pane, click Change adapter settings.
  
• 
  Right click on your connection name (WiFi name) and Properties.
  
• 
  Click the Configure... button.
  
• 
  Go to Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck/disable the radio button for "Allow this device to turn off this device to save power".
  
• 
  Restart the PC (Important)
