Windows 10: My laptop fall in water bucket

Hi Guys,

Yesterday accidentally my laptop fall in water bucket for 1 hour :- , but the good thing is my Laptop is shutdown there is no supply so I want to know is there is any possibility of any type of short circuit or burn type of things or what kind of damage can be happen even if the laptop is shutdown please help



My laptop is : Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15ast

lumia 720 fell in water, wont turn on.

my nokia lumia 720 recently fell in a bucket of water. now ive soaked out all the water and have had it on charge for 3,4 hrs but the phone still wont turn on. help!

 

Water damage

Such scenarios do not fall under warranty. As the above poster has suggested, best to get it checked at the repair centre.

Usually, based on my own experience, repair is usually not a good option. You will spend a lot of money repairing this, and then, things may still go really bad. It could stop working after the repair as well. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you
are likely to have a better experience by simply a new phone and abandoning this device altogether.
