Windows 10: My Laptop Fan Speeds Up After Sleep

Hi,


I'm using my "Asus UX434FLC" laptop for a couple of months now, but I'm having this issue over the past several days: when I put my laptop in sleep by closing the lid and open it back, fan starts to run at the top speed. This started a couple of days ago and task manager doesn't show any workload on any of the components, its just fan speeding up. How can I solve this problem ? Some useful infomation:


- A few days ago I updated my Windows 10 version to 20H2,

- I disabled telemetry because it was causing high CPU usage.

W10 CPU fan not boosting to max speed

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused.

We would suggest you to update the following items and check the cpu fan speed and performance.

Check if there is a program to control the fan speed, may be the controller program is not compatible with Windows 10. Also check for the below list and please update it:

• BIOS.
• Chipset drivers.

If you don't find the drivers compatible for Windows 10. refer to the motherboard manufacturer website and check for updated chipset drivers and install it.

I can't find any drivers listed for the Intel Rapid Storage. This Toshiba has AHCI from Microsoft.

But, I still have the jet speed fan in Win10 preview builds, but not for the Win10 upgrade on the Win8.1 partition.
