Windows 10: My laptop gets automatically muted whenever alarm goes off.

I use my laptop to set alarm. It was working just fine before but now when it's time for the alarm to go off I don't why my speaker gets muted automatically. I wonder if there is problem with the speaker driver or alarm app.

Alarm Clock Muting Sounds?


I'm not sure if this is actually the case but I have 2 alarm clocks that I use in my computer at the same time due to me having trouble waking up and the default Windows alarm clock is set to go off first then the other which an online alarm goes off after an hour. For some reason my sound mutes before the 2nd alarm clock even goes off. Does the default alarm clock turn off sounds after 1 hour of being unable to shut it off or something? If not, is it because of the two alarm clocks going off at the same time? Hoping you guys know this. If you really are wondering why I'm using two, I am using the default alarm clock just in case my internet is down and the online alarm clock does not go off and the online one since it has a better sound for waking me up.

If someone here knows how can I download a website for offline use, please let me know.

 

Volume goes to zero and mute.

If the volume of your computer automatically mutes, it could be that the audio drivers are corrupted or damaged, or that there are software conflicts occurring within the system. As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you run the audio troubleshooter
and lets Windows find and automatically resolve problems with your audio. Here's how to run the audio troubleshooter:

• Select the Start button, then type troubleshoot, and select
  Troubleshoot from the list of results. From there, select
  Playing Audio > Run the troubleshooter.

If the troubleshooter does not help resolve the problem with your volume settings, we suggest that you check Device Manager and update your sound card drivers. Updating would replace any corrupted or damaged components of the audio driver. Here's how to
update your audio drivers through Device Manager:

• Open the Start button, then type device manager, and select
  Device Manager from the search results.
• Under Sound, video and game controllers, right-click your sound card driver, then select
  Update Driver.
• Select Search automatically search for updated driver software.

If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you may look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions on how to install their driver.

Alarms in Windows 10 Muted ?

I use the default alarm app that came installed on my computer, Alarms. When I used the alarm in Windows 8.1 even if my sound was muted the alarm would still sound, and it was loud. However I made the upgrade to Windows 10 a day ago, now the app is called
Alarms & Clock, and now alarms will only sound if the sound is turned on, and in order to be able to hear it my volume has to be set to at least 60% and even that is extremely quiet. On 8.1 it was automatic, I set the alarm and as long as my computer wasn't
sleeping or turned off, the alarm would go off loudly without fail. Is there something I need to do in Windows 10 to get alarms to sound while muted? A new setting maybe? Or is this no longer possible?
