Windows 10: My laptop got extremely slow all of a sudden.

So 2 days ago my laptop started running extremely slow for a reason I couldn't find. The mouse moves around perfectly, but the laptop takes around 5-10 seconds to load something like file explorer, and the audio in the laptop is laggy and distorted.When I check task manager, everything looks just fine, with absolutely nothing being overloaded.I've already tried updating drivers, doing a hard reset 3 times with 1 of those being from BIOS, scanned for malware multiple times, disabling startup processes, and disabled non-microsoft services using System Configuration.But that just seemed to progre

Laptop has become extremely slow all of a sudden

I have an Asus Zenbook laptop that I mostly use for gaming. Normally, it runs fine, but lately it has been becoming EXTREMELY slow. And I mean only a few bytes per second download speed type slow. I can't use any games that require internet because they lag and take extremely long to load. I can't even search the internet. And, I have checked and double checked. My wifi works perfectly throughout the rest of the house. It's just with my laptop. I reset it, thinking maybe I downloaded something harmful a while back and that could be the issue. Instead, my computer just got slower. I have no idea what to do. Please help.

 

Jumplist sometimes extremely slow

I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 recently.

Only after a few days, the jump lists started to get extremely slow.

But they behave that way just for a while, then they work as they should again.

When slow, it takes several minutes for the jump list to appear. It is extremely annoying. Especially e.g. when I have opened a remote desktop and want to open another one via the jumplist.

I had exactly the same problem with my old Windows 7 PC and assumed that I would get rid of that problem,
changing both PC and OS, but no.

I do not want the standard answers to this problem:

- Disable Aero

- Clear the (Explorer) Cache for Jump lists

- etc.

It is definitely something else. I mean, how would the jump list cache get full after only a week? And why does the jump list get slow only sometimes and then suddenly works just fine again?

So please, give me an answer that takes this into consideration.

Also only one usb port is working and drivers appear to be not working.
