Windows 10: My laptop got very dim i could barely see anything

I Accidentally press a button which is i don't know on my keyboard and my laptop got very dim i can barely see anything i need my phone flashlight to see i already update my driver to the latest and i Press any keyboard button at the same time and my screen went back to normal and im happy but now i press the Fn keys and arrow up keys to adjust the brightness and it does adjust the brightness but i press the Fn keys and Arrow down keys and the screen got very dim again i could barely see anything again what should i do now i press the Fn arrow up again and the brightness is max but the scree

Unable to dim brightness in Dell Studio 1749 laptop: everything I have tried does not allow me to dim the over-bright screen using the win 10 customization tools? Most suggestion offer tweaks that might not be reversed?

Dim screen Win 10?

Have read the blogs. Windows 10 needs to make it EASY for people to dim their screen. This is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and it was easy to adjust the screen on all 3 including this one, until windows 10. Will buy a new laptop without Win 10 before I'll go
through all the steps to dim screen in win 10 that is listed in the blogs I've read. I did stall an APP that helped but screen still hurts my eyes and creates a headache. Anybody have an EASY answer. It was so easy to work with DOS and windows 3.1. It's been
a pain for a lot of people ever since they came up with the REGISTRY. Thanks people.
