Windows 10: My laptop had 90 background proccesses running taking up 50% of my RAM, making my computer...

Most of these background processes are just internal DELL things and I don't know if I can end them.

If you have 4GB of RAM, and that is 50% in use, that is quite normal if you have the 64bit version of Windows 10 installed . . .

Windows itself will be using most of that 2GB of RAM that is used, and you probably have a few background apps running also

Microsoft put out system specs for Windows 10 of 2GB of RAM for the 32bit version and 4GB of RAM for the 64bit version, in reality that is a bare minimum, you need double that, because Windows 10 is very resource heavy . .

Hello everyone i have this problem where my ram is always at 50% above and i jist reformatted my laptop a while ago i have no apps or games but the ram is already at 50% above what should i do? My specs are ryzen 3 3200U 4gb ram

We understand that you don't want some apps to run on the background of your computer. What we suggest is to
control which apps are allowed to run in the background. To see which apps have permission, just follow the below steps:

• Open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings.”
• Click or tap the “Privacy” icon in the Settings.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select “Background apps.”
  
• You’ll see a list of apps that have permission to run in the background with an “On/Off” toggle.

Just bear in mind that, apps normally run in the background to update their live tiles, download new data, and receive notifications. If you want an app to continue performing these functions, you should allow it to continue running in
the background.
