The title says it all, I got the laptop a year ago, a gaming laptop basically, and since then I cant update my windows, cuz of my low memory on my disk c drive. I got only 200mb - 1.5gb of memory usually, and its VERY annoying and stressful, especially when I heard about the newest update improving fps for gamesHow can I update my windows if my drive is legit at 1 gb ?

    :)

Unable to shrink the C drive beyond 455 GB

I was trying to partition my 1 TB hard drive in new windows 10 laptop from HP by using disk management tool . I would like to keep the following partition sizes:

    C Drive : 200 GB

    D Drive : 400 GB

    E Drive : 300 GB

However I am unable to proceed as the shrink cannot be beyond 50% and it doesn't allow Volume C to be less than 455 GB.

Will I be able to successfully shrink it to 200 GB in c drive and does it have any disadvantages doing so?

C and D Drives in Different Hard Disks

I just got a new desktop computer with Windows 10, and its OS is currently in C Drive right now.

The problem is that C Drive is only 111 GB, while D Drive is an empty 930 GB.

I am trying to transfer all files in my old laptop to the new desktop but can't do it because files would stop transferring due to C Drive being out of space.

I tried to extend the volume of C Drive, but couldn't do it because D Drive is for some reason allocated to a different hard disk (see the image below).

Is there any way to move D Drive from disk 2 to disk 0 so I can move on with transferring my old files?
