Windows 10: My laptop has a BSOD error called gnf.sys. I need help.

Before I installed the new RAM, I always get a BSOD error named nvlddmkm. Which forced me to replace my bad RAM.Now it's been a month ever since I installed a new ram Kingston Fury. After waking up this afternoon and opening my laptop. It suddenly shows a BSOD error related to gnf.sys file.File description: GTB Extreme Network Driver Company: Windows R Win 7 DDK provider File version 1.6.4.5I've read that this error is related to CADs apps and yeah I used an Adobe Illustrator app before sleeping for 2 hrs. HELP : BsOD error on boot: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (NETwew02.sys)

Hello,

Operating system: Windows 8.1

Laptop: HP ProBook 450 G1

Few days ago Windows did some upgrades, ever since i keep getting the

BsOD error on boot: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (NETwew02.sys),

and i can manage to boot the system only on Safe Mode.

I read that it's about the Intel Wifi driver... i downloaded a new driver from HP page, uninstalled the existing one, deleted the NETwew02.sys from the drivers folder and Registry also and installed the new one. The laptop booted normally once and then the
same BsOD error again and again....

Any suggestions ?? Plz help

BSOD while using the internet. error (L1C63x64.sys)

Welcome to the 10forums.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window


AVG is trying to request data from the internet, which is why the network driver is marked as the cause.

Please uninstall AVG and see if it helps

It is further recommended to check your Qualcomm network driver for updates, its driver is not supported for Windows 10.

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.
