My laptop has been stolen by someone who may well have the passwords. I have removed the device from the Microsoft account, but want to make sure that they can't log in to that user nor to the laptop at allHow can I double check?The laptop is and has been off since then

How to remove access to one drive etc on stolen laptop?

My laptop was stolen, what do I need to do to make sure they can’t access my one drive etc on the laptop?

I’ve changed my Microsoft account password but the laptop would be logged in to one drive without needing a password?

When trying to find the answer to this question online the phrase “trusted devices” comes up a lot but I can’t find this on the mobile version of the Microsoft account, is it now just “devices”? All I can see is “remove this device” - but it’s not clear if doing this would stop the thieves ability to access my one drive on the stolen device?

I need to know steps to take when accessing my account on the mobile version as I don’t have access to a desktop now the laptops been stolen.

Ouch man! Ive had a laptop stolen also. It was stolen right off a table in a coffee shop. I went up to get a refill was gone maybe 30 seconds. They took my laptop and my smart phone. There was someone sitting at the table but she got up to use the bathroom, wrong move. The laptop was less than 3 days old. Never saw or heard from it again. *Mad I was lucky it wasnt my work laptop, I would have been in big trouble, and I own the company. *Laugh :laugh:
