Windows 10: My laptop has my old work account as well as my personal account. How do I get rid of the...

My laptop keeps telling me to refer to my administrator in Office 365. This may be due to a hangover from when I had a work account. How do I get rid of that account and just have my personal account

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Microsoft work account problem

I constantly get a prompt when I start my laptop telling me there is a problem with a work account, probably because of a password change. But the only remedy suggested is to log into the work account. I no longer
have that work account, as I don't work there, so I can't log out or log in to that account. I subscribed to a personal account instead. How do I get rid of the association between my old work account and my personal account?

 

Deleting an old workplace account

Hello - I'm trying to remove an old workplace account from my personal computer, but going round in circles.

In the list of accounts it's in the "Accounts used by other apps" section.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.
