Windows 10: My laptop has no sound output

I have no sound output from my PC which has windows 11.

:)

 

Windows 10 audio stutters regardless of driver or output used, more noticeable on the toslink and surround sound.

• What device are you using? A laptop or a computer?
• Its a desktop, i listed the components in the original post.
• Do you have an external speaker?From which device does the sound come out from? From the TV or from the device?
• I listed the outputs in the original post. The issue exists on all outputs and exists on the tv speakers, surround sound speakers, and headset.
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• I have listed the troubleshooting steps that i can remember in the original post.

 

Sound comes out of laptop instead of TV when viewing a DVD

Sorry everyone, I forgot to come back to say I solved the issue! I did it like this:

• Right-click speaker icon in the tray
• Click on "Sounds"
• Go go to the "Playback" tab"

There are two speaker devices listed:

1. Digital Output (with a TV icon)
2. Speaker/HP (my laptop speakers)

I disabled Speaker/HP, and then Digital Output automatically took over, which made the sound come out of the TV. Problem solved! Thanks for the suggestions and advice that helped steer me in that direction. *Thumbs

 

External sound cards for a laptop, PLEASE HELP ME!

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into these devices.

So let me get this right, you just plug this into the laptop and it'll act as the sound output to my receiver?
